Razer Book 13 review: So close to greatness

Book 13
By Razer
Positives

Great build and design
Display is bright and crisp
Long battery life
Powerful processor
RGB keys are a fun addition

Negatives

Keyboard is really bad
Webcam should be better
Expensive

Bottom Line

The Razer Book 13 is a great productivity machine with one major flaw: its keyboard. Unfortunately, the keyboard is weak enough that it knocks this machine's review score down significantly. However, if you can accept that flaw, this is still a great-looking productivity laptop with plenty of power and ample battery life.

Garmin Venu 2 review: A worthy sequel

Venu 2
By Garmin
Positives

Now comes in two sizes
Crisp AMOLED display
Accurate fitness, sleep, and health tracking
Excellent GPS accuracy
Health Snapshot is useful
More music storage

Negatives

Battery life can be finicky
Uneven heart rate sensor data
High price tag

Bottom Line

The Garmin Venu 2 is a well-rounded, feature-packed multisport smartwatch. It's a big improvement over the original Venu, and Garmin seems to be taking its smartwatch software seriously. It's pricey, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for an Apple Watch or Galaxy Watch alternative.

OnePlus 9R review: OnePlus 8T, take two

9R
By OnePlus
Positives

Competitive performance
Fast 65W charging
Excellent 120Hz display

Negatives

Build doesn't feel premium
Lackluster cameras
No IP rating

Bottom Line

The OnePlus 9R marks a return to value flagships for the company, but it's got a lot of competition. The specs sheet is solid, but the lack of any stand-out features leaves little to get excited about, and the camera performance is still sub-standard. All in all, the OnePlus 9R is a utilitarian entryway into the OnePlus ecosystem and an enticing alternative to the vanilla OnePlus 9, but there are stronger options from rival brands.

Redmi Note 10 review: The everyday workhorse

Note 10
By Redmi
Positives

Stunning, elegant design
All-day battery life
Speedy 33W charging
Main camera delivers the goods
IP53 rating

Negatives

Not the best performance in the category
Secondary cameras could be a bit better

Bottom Line

The Redmi Note 10 focuses on the everyday experience over raw performance. The main camera delivers, the build quality is excellent, and the classy design stands out among its more gaudy contemporaries. The negatives that are here are offset by the low price, making the Redmi Note 10 an easy recommendation for almost anyone looking for a no-nonsense budget smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus review: Among the best buds in the galaxy

Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus
By Samsung
$109 USD purchasing options
Positives

Bluetooth 5.0
Scalable Samsung codec and AAC
Battery life
Qi Wireless charging
Compact build
Mic quality

Negatives

Lacks aptX
No auto-resume playback
Lacks multipoint functionality

Bottom Line

The Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus make important improvements over the original Galaxy Buds. You can now listen to recommended songs with a simple touch gesture, thanks to Spotify integration. While this feature is novel and one I greatly enjoyed, greater battery life, Qi wireless charging functionality, and improved mic quality also make these true wireless earphones a compelling buy.

Amazfit Bip U Pro review: Don’t come for Alexa, but stay nevertheless

Amazfit Bip U Pro
By Huami
Positives

Lightweight design
Vibrant display
Affordable price
Accurate tracking
Built-in GPS

Negatives

Cheap materials make for bad build quality
App has syncing issues
Alexa is unreliable
Third-party app support is lacking

Bottom Line

The Amazfit Bip U Pro is an impressive fitness watch available at an attractive price. However, it could do with better app connectivity. Alexa support is patchy and unreliable, so don't pick the device for its voice assistant capabilities. If you don't mind all that, you won't be disappointed by its overall performance.

Anker PowerPort Atom III Slim review: Quantity over quality

PowerPort Atom III Slim
By Anker
Positives

45W of USB-C power even when multi-charging
Compact design
84% energy efficiency

Negatives

Few fast-charge protocols, lacks USB PD PPS
Slow charging over USB-A

Bottom Line

Anker PowerPort Atom III Slim's 45W USB-C port is great for fast-charging most new phones and laptops. However, the omission of USB PD PPS and Qualcomm Quick Charge protocols severely limits the plug's fast-charging capabilities. The three USB-A ports are quite slow for anything other than Apple products, which compromises the plug's four-port utility.
