If you’re in India, you might want to circle April 27 and make sure you have a fistful of cash at 2 pm local time, because that’s when the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 goes on sale in the sub-continent. Unlike Amazon, which still requires registration for the sale, the sale via Xiaomi’s own web portal is marked as “no registration required”.

Both phones have that awesome 4,000 mAh battery, full metal housing, fingerprint scanner, 5.5-inch Full HD display and Snapdragon 650 with Adreno 510 GPU. Mi Protect is also available for Rs 375.
Besides the Redmi Note 3, the 20,000 mAh Mi Power Bank and the excellent Xiaomi Mi 5 will also be included in the registration-free sale. The Mi Power Bank will set you back Rs 1,699 and the Mi 5 costs ₨ 24,999.
