Recently, the most popular streaming platform, Netflix, released its quarterly earnings report. In the report, Netflix talked about many things, such as cash flow, capital structure, etc.
However, the streaming giant also mentioned the viewership numbers of its most popular Netflix movies and TV shows in the last quarter.

Interestingly, Netflix’s most successful original movie is Charlize Theron’s Old Guard. The action movie stands tall with a viewership count of 78 million in its first four weeks. Then, Jamie Foxx’s Project Power garnered about 75 million views in the first month of its release. Finally, the romantic comedy ‘The Kissing Booth 2’ was viewed by almost 66 million households in its first 28 days.
Netflix premiered Enola Holmes, starring Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill, on September 23. It is estimated that in the first 28 days, the adventure crime drama will complete 76 million views.
As of TV shows, 43 million viewers chose to watch Netflix’s ‘The Umbrella Academy 2,’ a show about a family of superhero siblings. Also, Lucifer’s new season got the attention of 38 million members in its first 28 days.
In mid-September, Netflix premiered Ryan Murphy’s Ratched, an American Psychological thriller series starring Sarah Paulson and Sharon Stone. Interestingly, a total of 48 Million Netflix members chose to watch Ratched in the first month of its release.
In the last quarter, Netflix also released several documentary feature films. However, the top two Netflix’s documentaries are American Murder: The Family Next Door and The Social Dilemma, with a viewership of 52 million and 38 million, respectively in the first 28 days.
Netflix also announced that the streaming platform has resumed working on some of their most popular titles. For instance, season four of Stranger Things and the second season of The Witcher is already in production. Despite the threat of COVID-19, Netflix estimates that it will complete shooting on over 150 productions by the end of 2020.
