Microsoft is organizing events in some Indian cities where the Microsoft Lumia 640 and 640 XL will be launched. Both the phones will be of double sim varient.
Hardware Specification:
The Lumia 640 features a 5-inch 720pixel ClearBlack display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, 8MP camera at the back, 1MP front camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 2,500mAh battery with a microSD slot.
The larger Lumia 640 XL comes with a 5.7-inch 720pixel display, similar hardware specification as that of Lumia 640 with a 13MP camera at the back and a 5MP front camera, with a 3,000mAh battery. Both devices feature the latest software in the form of Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2.
